Armor Bearers

Ujima's Armor Bearers are always up for a challenge! This group of children, age 10 to 12, is provided Biblical instruction, crafts and activities at least twice each week. Their curriculum is very interactive so the children are led to share their thoughts, comments and concerns while they are at an age when many children begin to behave in a more introverted manner. Puzzles, games and brain teasers are also used to reinforce academic skills. The Armor Bearer's volunteer teaching team is loving and dedicated to growing discipled young people with a passion to serve the Lord.

The Armor Bearers, in addition to regular classes have an annual "Lock-in" in conjunction with the SonBeams (age 6-9). The Lock-in is a wonderful overnight event that includes games, activities, crafts, movies, surprise guest speakers and peer sharing. Many of the Recreation Ministry trips are also geared toward the interests and benefit of the Armor Bearers.
