The following was written by our congregation's First Lady. I could not think of more appropriate words and thought it better to share what the Lord put on her heart instead...
"As we, nearly 20 years later, remember the horrific images and the devastating reports and accounts of the tragedy of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. And we consider all those First Responders who did not hesitate to risk their lives making every effort to rescue every survivor as well as the men and women of our Armed Forces sent across the world to defend our freedom in response to these cowardly acts of violence. May our hearts be encouraged by the resilience of our Nation and may we never forget, especially in these tumultuous times of a pandemic, protests, wild fires and ever-growing unemployment and anxiety that we profess to be ONE NATION UNDER GOD and that we must Love our neighbors as we Love ourselves!!!"
